Shanghai World Financial Center (SWFC) has kicked off its spring season with a burst of color and festive energy under the theme “Hi Spring.”
Inside and out, flowers brighten the space while melodies and live music fill the air, welcoming the season in style.

The centerpiece, a large floral installation “Joy of Spring,” now graces the first-floor lobby. Inspired by bicycle wheels and crafted from bamboo and fresh blooms, it symbolizes the joy of winter giving way to spring and the energy of new beginnings. The installation will remain on display until April 17, alongside a hands-on workshop on April 15, inviting office workers to create their own spring arrangements.

Outside, 12 Somei Yoshino cherry trees along Century Avenue and Dongtai Road have reached peak bloom, while SWFC’s triangular LED façade lights up with a special spring animation show every Friday to Sunday from 6–10pm, on the hour and half-hour, through April 10 creating a dreamy cherry blossom atmosphere over Lujiazui. The annual Cherry Blossom Light Show also returns during the same hours, with animated petals falling across the building’s exterior.

Spring at SWFC isn’t just visual — music fills the air too. On April 1, the Sweet Garden Band performed a lively lunchtime concert for office-goers.
The season continues with a lineup of springtime activities, including mini “lunch-hour sports” events for office workers, designed to awaken the senses, celebrate the season, and highlight SWFC’s unique blend of business, culture, and urban flair.
