Jinshan District saw a surge in cultural and tourism consumption during the Qingming holiday, welcoming more than 350,000 visitors in total.

The Martial Arts Festival at Langxia Country Park, combined with the Shanghai Bay Peony Festival, created an innovative tourism model blending immersive martial arts experiences with spring flower viewing. The attraction quickly became a popular getaway destination in suburban Shanghai.
The park offered over 20 immersive experience programs, with nearly 50 NPCs in ancient-style costumes interacting with visitors as martial arts characters. Various flowers complemented the peonies, achieving a deep integration of cultural experience and natural scenery.

Data from the Legoland Shanghai Resort showed that visitor numbers increased by about 102 percent from April 1 to 6 compared to the previous week.
Other scenic spots across Jinshan also flourished with spring colors, attracting large crowds for flower viewing and outings.

At the Hua Kai Hai Shang Ecological Park, lupines, baby blue eyes, cherry blossoms, Iceland poppies, and Chinese violet cress bloomed in succession, accompanied by a dazzling light show each night for three days.

In Tinglin Town, the Maoyuan cherry blossom area in Tingxi Village, featuring about 600 cherry trees and a cherry blossom avenue over 200 meters long, reached its best viewing period. Over the holiday, it received approximately 25,000 visitors. Two daily cherry blossom-themed craft activities allowed visitors to make ice-skinned cherry blossom cakes and cherry blossom hairpins, experiencing traditional craftsmanship amid the floral fragrance.
The concurrently held Colorful Rape Flower Festival also proved highly popular, attracting about 7,000 visitors daily. Youche Village, with its more than 180 mu (12 hectares) of five-colored rape flower fields, featured scenic installations such as windmills, scarecrows, and heart-shaped arches. A newly opened rustic wooden “village café” allowed visitors to enjoy coffee and desserts beside the flower fields, offering a perfect rest stop during spring outings.
