On June 5, at the 2026 Shanghai International Exhibition of Senior Care, Rehabilitation Medicine and Healthcare (AID 2026), Yueban, an accessibility technology brand under Shenzhen Topband Co., Ltd., officially launched its smart toileting robot “Xiao Ban”. The robot uses AI and robotics to tackle toileting challenges, reduce caregiver burden, and promote social accessibility through technology.

Yueban’s smart toileting robot addresses the essential care needs of people with disabilities, semi-disabilities, and limited mobility. With one‑key calling, autonomous movement, fully automatic waste flushing and cleaning, as well as integrated washing and drying, it helps users toilet independently and safely, significantly reducing caregiver strain.
At the launch, Yueban’s product manager stated that toileting is a fundamental daily necessity, and technology should remove physical barriers so users can maintain independence and dignity. The brand aims to advance social accessibility through smart technology so that everyone receives equal care.

Designed for real home environments, “Xiao Ban” uses an AI‑powered control chip, integrating five laser sensors, one LiDAR, eight cliff sensors and one ultrasonic sensor to achieve fully autonomous movement without manual intervention. Users simply press a call button, and the robot moves from its charging dock to the user. Non‑visual sensors protect user privacy and dignity.
The development of “Xiao Ban” is supported by Topband’s 30 years of smart control expertise. As an industry leader, Topband has built a full‑stack “four electronics, one network + AI” technology platform and defined “autonomous intelligence” as its AI‑era upgrade direction. “Xiao Ban” represents the first autonomous‑intelligent product under this strategy.
From demand research to mass production, the team conducted extensive scenario validation in homes and elderly care facilities, working closely with Topband’s central research institute. Topband’s full‑chain manufacturing and quality control capabilities ensure reliable production and delivery.

Against the backdrop of national strategies to develop the silver economy and build an accessible environment, demand for smart care solutions is growing rapidly. A Yueban representative stated that the launch of “Xiao Ban” is an important step in its accessibility commitment. The brand will continue to focus on home‑based elderly care and rehabilitation, expand its smart assistive product portfolio, and integrate hardware, scenarios and services to build a “product + scenario + service” accessible ecosystem – making assistive technology available to every family and every person in need. Looking ahead, Yueban will support the development of an accessible society with practical innovation, using technology to protect the dignity of every user – so that everyone is equally cared for, and every need is seen and met.
