In midsummer, Kerry Hotel Pudong, Shanghai presents two new themed family rooms: the “Jiajia Playful Exploration Themed Room” and the “Questers Family Themed Room”, offering a fresh and exciting way for families to enjoy their holidays.

The “Jiajia Playful Exploration Themed Room” is inspired by Jiajia, the hotel’s kangaroo mascot. As children enter this room, they are greeted by a fairytale world under Jiajia’s warm guardianship. Every detail—from bed linens and room decorations to children’s amenities and welcome gifts—is infused with Jiajia’s friendly presence.

On the other hand, the “Questers Family Themed Room” takes inspiration from outdoor adventures. Upon check-in, young questers receive a special adventure lamp and lead their families into the “Questers Playhouse”. Inside, there is a fun slide, as well as badges and embroidered patches inspired by Shanghai—vividly showcasing local cultural imprints. Guests also receive a “Questers Activity Handbook”, which contains information about the hotel and interesting facts about the city, allowing them to discover and experience Shanghai’s unique charm.

Each young guest receives an exclusive “Children’s Passport” to embark on an exploration- and sticker-collecting journey throughout the hotel. They can take the passport to designated spots in the Adventure Zone and three restaurants to collect stickers. Completing these tasks not only helps children become familiar with every corner of the hotel but also gives them a strong sense of achievement and creates lasting memories. This passport serves not only as a unique souvenir but also as a catalyst for children’s curiosity and desire to explore—adding a sense of ceremony and surprise to the holiday.
