What if your beauty shopping experience could begin with an AI-powered skin analysis? Shanghai’s new AI SUM BEAUTY is bringing together cosmetics and digital innovation to offer a more personalized approach to beauty retail.
Opened on July 27 at Daning Music Plaza in Jing’an District, the nearly 400-square-meter store combines Chinese beauty brands with AI-powered services and immersive digital experiences.

Developed by Daning Group, the store is supported by two of the group’s innovation platforms: Beauty Nova Tech Hub, focused on beauty and wellness innovation, and π Space, which explores ultra-high-definition audiovisual technologies.
The Beauty Innovation Zone features 13 counters showcasing Chinese beauty brands including SCHÖN, Kase and OVYA, alongside open makeup stations, a fragrance area and AI-powered skin and scalp analysis tools that provide personalized skincare recommendations.

Beyond beauty products, visitors can explore the AI Technology & Audiovisual Zone, which features interactive 3D printing, AI companion robots, smart wearable devices and AI-powered electronic instruments.
AI SUM BEAUTY will also host regular events, including new product launches, limited-time pop-ups, beauty workshops and AI technology open days, bringing together beauty, technology and cultural exchange.
