An immersive experience centered around oyster flavors, wine culture, and social connection unfolded on a summer evening. From an exclusive masterclass with limited seating to a relaxed evening party, guests embarked on a journey exploring oceanic terroir and urban lifestyle through exquisite cuisine and meaningful conversations.
From Flavor Exploration to Sensory Connection
As a key highlight of the opening day, the Oyster Masterclass was held in the afternoon with only 16 seats available. Led by a professional oyster sommelier, the session guided guests through four premium oyster selections from world-renowned regions – Moana (New Zealand), La Bourrichie (France), Tarbouriech (France), and Ostra Regal (Ireland). Through a layered tasting experience covering regional terroir, farming environments, and tasting techniques, guests discovered the distinctive flavor expressions that different sea areas impart to oysters.
From 7:00 PM onward, the event officially opened to all guests. Attendees could enjoy a special pairing offer featuring New Zealand Moana oysters and selected wines. Grown in the pristine, cold waters of the Southern Hemisphere, Moana oysters are renowned for their crisp, fresh taste and delicate cucumber aroma. As the oysters’ briny freshness unfolded alongside the rich aromas of fine wines, guests naturally engaged in relaxed conversations, allowing the flavor experience to become a bridge for connection – echoing West Wing's philosophy of fostering an open, authentic, and tasteful social culture.

On opening night, a live DJ delivered upbeat yet relaxed rhythms, injecting energy and dimension into the space. "Oyster Month" Continues Through August
With the official launch of "Stories Over Oysters," West Wing will present the "Oyster Month" themed experience from August 1 to August 31. During the event period, starting daily at 5:30 PM, guests can enjoy Dozen Oyster set menus, Oyster Flight tasting platters, and a variety of wine pairing offers.
