Annual CCS Grief Memorial | Light the Way for One Another

Grief is the experience of coping with loss. Most of us think of grief associated with the death of a loved one. But grief can accompany any event that disrupts or challenges our sense of normalcy or ourselves. This includes the loss of connections that define us, and sometimes it’s harder to acknowledge the small losses that have changed our everyday lives.

We can grieve big and small life changes. These changes can include a job change, the end of a relationship, the loss of health, miscarriage or infertility, the loss of a pet, the loss of identity or moving to a new country. This takes a toll on us and can leave us feeling isolated, disconnected, alone in our grief, and without a sense of real closure. CCS will be hosting its fourth Annual Grief Memorial on Thursday, 5 December at Being Art Museum in Jinqiao.
