From lifestyle and coffee to water sports and delicacies, a tourism extravaganza is ongoing at four venues across Shanghai. Just come and have a look!
The five-day grand event, Tourism Plus Shanghai 2025, which runs through April 3, features eight lifestyle festivals at four venues: Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center and Shanghai New International Expo Center in the Pudong New Area, the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) in Qingpu District, and Changfeng Joy City in Putuo District.

At the HOTELEX Shanghai Coffee, Wine & Food Festival, you get to taste coffee from over 200 boutique cafes worldwide, sample beans from different regions, try different roasting flavors, and learn about coffee preparation.
The festival is a visual and culinary feast. Four world-class coffee competitions – brewing, latte art, barista, and roasting – will put on spectacular displays.
The 2025 China Brewers Cup, Latte Art Championship, and Barista Championship Shanghai Division are also on the menu.
A wine and chocolate bazaar showcases unique wines from around the world and boutique chocolates, with prominent chocolatiers teaching chocolate making on site.
Traditional herbal tea featured as the event offers a chance to explore TCM
If you are interested in traditional Chinese culture, don’t miss traditional medicine intangible cultural heritage programs such as Fang’s acupuncture, Cai’s gynecology and Shi’s traumatology on the spot, which offer visitors an immersive TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) cultural experience.
The Shanghai Literature Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine brings cultural explanations and live demonstrations to promote healthy lifestyle, while professionals from the Xinchang TCM Culture Base provide interactive services like constitution identification and acupoint massage, allowing you to experience the allure of traditional Chinese medicine up close.
The display and interaction highlights the charm of TCM culture and provides a platform for its inheritance and innovation, bringing traditional medicine heritage into people’s daily lives.

Tea drinkers, pay attention! The Global Flavor Cha Drink Culture Festival makes its debut at the event.
This festival provides a diverse experience, including tea pop-ups, fashionable drink exhibitions, intangible cultural heritage displays, and stylish fashion exhibits.

At Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center, visitors will find the Spring Festival gala’s “star” Yushu robots walking their robot dogs, interact with dancing and coffee-making humanoid robots Qingbao, try on exoskeletons inspired by “The Wandering Earth,” and experience global premieres such as the Prado Museum VR Art Exhibition from Spain.
The water sports carnival offers exciting activities such as diving, paddleboard racing, kayak freestyle, and electric hydrofoil surfing in a water playground.
