Aiming for the Popularization of Kendo Domestically and Internationally
The “World Kendo Championships (WKC),” hosted by the International Kendo Federation, is the largest event in the kendo world.
Taking the opportunity of the “20th World Kendo Championships (20WKC)” to be held in Japan in Reiwa 9 (2027), we will establish the “Kendo World Championships Support Club” to support the All Japan Kendo Federation (Zen Nihon Kendo Renmei or Zenkenren) in its activities related to the WKC and to contribute to the promotion of kendo both domestically and internationally.
This system will utilize the support received from kendo enthusiasts as the original capital to fund Zenkenren’s WKC activities and its proactive promotion initiatives at home and abroad. We kindly request your support and agreement.
