The Bund for mr.Alexie

Chapter 4

The conversation between Monsieur An and me is like a mirror reflecting our thoughts and ideas.

I miss him and his stories. When Mr.X called me with this idea for writing, it felt like a guiding light for my next step. I have written about self-reflection before, especially when enjoying a few cups of good wine. I enjoy sharing my perspective to help new friends understand a little bit about my journey.

"Pizzzzaaa is a delightful exploration of human nature. I’m feeling a bit hesitant about checking this mirror at the moment.“

Hey. Monsieur An. Sorry for bringing back the story with the French wine guy. Since you guys are both French.

So from a business perspective:

  1. When you first move to HK, it’s easier to navigate the FDA and tax policies compared to SH as you mentioned. Different situations call for different standards, so there’s no need to argue about it.

  2. When you divide my shares from TST HK with our partners, I would appreciate a professional and transparent calculation of your fees and equity distribution. Also, as we bring in a new group chef, it’s important to note that you have already received over 90% of my cash investment in dividends, in addition to the bank loan. so there’s no need to argue about it.

  3. Managing design and construction with transparency is challenging, especially in a high-cost environment like Hong Kong. I understand the difficulties involved and appreciate your efforts.so there’s no need to argue about it.

  4. Thank you for consistently sending the quarterly operation report and dividends on time, even during the challenges of COVID. Your professional explanation for why there may be no dividend in low seasons is appreciated.so there’s no need to argue about it.

I feel fortunate because you all are such polite and skilled professionals.

Now Let us recheck the wine guy`s concept.

  1. The wine guy initially approached others before me, but eventually he decided to sell the wine on my behalf and share the income with me. I’m okay with it.

And there’s been constant disagreement over the expensive decorations in tricky games, even after I agreed to reduce my shares from 20% to 17% to 16% to 15% before any dividend and pay extra monthly fees. It seems like group games are our only option until we have a transparent conversation about investment returns.

  1. This legal lesson has really opened my eyes to the complexities of human nature. Thanks to the wine guy for helping me understand it better.

  2. You can certainly use my less than eloquent words about your ex team’s actions during your departure to assess the situation.

Seriously.I understand my limitations.
All the best. really appreciate it.

About that pizza concept.

  1. My team secured a great lease for a shop and the landlord is really proactive with marketing.

  2. I have assembled the operation team for Le Petit Carnard and the back office, with the exception of one sous chef Young.

  3. inside of million capital I paid 500k plus 200K as loan to partner even paid back from company later.

  4. My partner there got screwed in his first restaurant before by his staff and I saved his 200k penalty during his closing after burning around 3 million.

  5. I’m his fireman for all pizza shops without a shareholder contract. more shops, more issues.

  6. Pls F158 shop is a cash machine for around 900k monthly on 40000rental for around 3 years. It’s really the key.

Monsieur An: “Wow, I’m speechless. Great job!”

Me: “Success is not only due to my efforts, but also because of the strength of my partner. It’s definitely fortunate, especially considering all the failures I’ve experienced. I see those experiences as valuable lessons and treasures. I also acknowledge that I may have lacked sufficient management skills and formal education. As a founder, if I feel unprepared to take on the responsibilities of running my own business, it’s important for me to seek help or else risk losing everything. This decision is purely based on business logic and not personal animosity. It’s about making the best choice for the success of the venture.”

Me:"In this case, I have learnt a lot, especially signing partner contracts. I should not mix friendship in business except silence shareholders. I should ask myself why when people get close to me Meanwhile. It has a limit to balance life and business, especially on studying support of my daughter in the Chinese education system. Step by step, I lost even turning to a dick watch with overconfidence. I appreciate you telling me the truth from a side perspective. Very important to me.”

Monsieur An:”when you find out your finance manager buys a fake invoice with chef Willy. Why did he call you from Bankok?”
Me:”He moved to Bankok because of the low cost of life and better quality of life compared with Shanghai.”

Monsieur An:”Maybe for different girls there. It is famous for girls there and dangerous.”
Me:”Maybe.Maybe it`s about his safety which he can control the business outside of China, but he keeps pushing others to buy fake invoices inside China to cover the cost of his last restaurant tomatos here.”

Monsieur An: “Wooww. There is lots of information here. Maybe you could give me more details about it?”

Me:“Oui, bien sûr. Je vais commencer par Monsieur Alexie, l’investisseur du groupe de restaurants Willy de Espagne.”
